What is the name of this '70s Martial Arts film where good guy gets killed midway.?

Here%26#039;s the story as I remember it: An overly-trustworthy goodie-two-shoes hero (in his 20s) will not sell his land to a hostile group. He is invited to have dinner with them as a peace offering. But his friends say don%26#039;t trust them. As he is shoveling rice into his mouth with bowl and chop sticks he is stabbed underneath the table and is ambushed but continues fighting until the end. Cut to his funeral with his photo above his casket. His friend tries to avenge the hero%26#039;s death and is beaten up badly, but is left alive. A Master trains the friend to do exercises by jabbing his fingers into pots of hot sand. He tries again to avenge the hero%26#039;s death and is successful. During the final chaotic fight scene we see flash backs of him training and of him and the hero smiling.

It played as a double feature with the last running of %26quot;The Omen%26quot; in US theatres in the mid %26#039;70s.
